Founded in 2017, 31 East is the label and publishing company co-founded by Multi-Platinum JUNO Award-winning, GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY Award-nominated duo Banx & Ranx (Zacharie “Soké” Raymond and Yannick “KNY Factory” Rastogi). In 2022, 31 East and Universal Music Canada partnered with the joint focus of nourishing and amplifying Canadian talent. In the words of Banx & Ranx – music made in Canada for the world. In less than a year, 31 East/UMC artists Banx & Ranx, Rêve and Preston Pablo have achieved Platinum and Double Platinum certification on three consecutive Top 10 radio singles and have won three 2023 JUNO Awards (Breakthrough Group, Breakthrough Artist, and Dance Recording of the Year).
